Created brand for PrimeLearning, a VC-backed early entrant to global online learning (eLearning) marketplace. Developed go-to-market strategy and plan for launch. Developed product/service architecture for all offerings. Responsible for branding, marketing, communications, and sales channels development and execution, including sales enablement tools and resources. Exceeded company’s goals and deadlines.

Challenge & Opportunity
As an early entrant to the online learning (eLearning) market for “soft skills” training, time was of the essence to bring the new brand and product/service offerings to market while few competitors were active in this market. Further adding to the challenge was the reality that ‘soft skills’ online learning was uncharted territory since online learning to date had been limited to technical skills training.

While the company name and logo had already been chosen, and the product/service offerings were in development with several ready for launch within weeks…the brand, marketing, communications, and sales strategies and plans were yet to be created.

The initial need was to define and articulate the brand with the goal of timely introducing PrimeLearning to its target audiences and channels. A central brand blueprint and platform were developed to guide the brand experience and create communications synergies and a strategic naming architecture across product and service lines. Once developed, the branding was applied to all digital and traditional marketing and communication platforms and materials.

Simultaneously, the marketing, communications, and sales strategies and plans needed to be created in a timely, yet thoughtful manner. This included the creation of aligned marketing and communications ‘materials’ online and offline, the development of sales partners and channels, onboarding an internal sales team, and the creation of event marketing, and sales enablement tools and resources both digitally and in print.

With only 12 weeks from inception to launch, the go-to-market branding, marketing, communications, and sales enablement strategies, plans, campaigns, tools and resources were fully completed.

Developed overall brand positioning, messaging, visual identity. Created product/service naming and architecture. Developed all brand materials, tools and training in both print and digital formats and for diverse media platforms. Developed sales channels and sales enablement tools and resources. Launched new brand nationally to business audiences.

Leveraged insights that were collected by PrimeLearning to inform brand strategy and development and launch strategy and plan. Conducted competitive research on market players, their offerings and brand to inform process for brand differentiation.

Developed brand platform and blueprint defining unique personality, promise, value proposition, messaging based on audience hot buttons by persona type. Creative direction and oversight provided in managing Art Director on brand identity and visual expression. Naming strategy and architecture for product and service offerings were developed. Created the materials for all internal training programs, including sales and channel partners. Developed Go-to-Market strategy and plan executed for national business audience.

Management of all Creative Services, Content and Copy Development including and not limited to stationary, print, digital, website, architecture and  video development, sales enablement, marketing and event marketing materials, service brochures, sell sheets, ads, and other external and internal facing training and marketing materials.

Online, offline, video and other print and digital materials, tools and resources were created for the sales and channel partner teams to equip them with the tools and resources needed to efficiently and effectively market to business audiences.  Trained internal and external sales teams and partners on how to optimize these newly created tools and resources.

Outcomes & Results
Company, products and services fully launched on-time, on-budget and on-spec within 12 weeks timeframe.  PrimeLearning courses were readily adopted within months of launch, growing learning user base ahead of planned schedule.
