Created new market sector for this initial entrant to the Interim Executive market for C-suite and their direct reports. Created brand, and developed and managed marketing, communications and sales enablement strategy. High growth and revenue resulted in acquisition by global talent provider within 7 years of launch.

Challenge & Opportunity
As the first entrant in a non-existent market sector, IMCOR opened a new market for Interim Executive Placement at the C-level and direct reports to the C-suite.  In addition to the challenges of creating a new company and brand, we were creating a new market.

The opportunity was ours to capture, in that no other company was actively pursuing this line of business. The challenge was time and trust.  We had to rapidly get the brand built, launched, and established before other early adopters joined in.  We also had to quickly build trust in the concept that interim executives was a viable, and preferable solution in many scenarios at the C-suite or direct reports at this level.

Services & Solutions
Developed and launched new brand.  Simultaneouly created thought leadership in the form of whitepapers, eNewsletters, bylined articles, testimonials, evolving case studies, tips, research studies and their insights, and disseminated these in print and digitally.  Built inbound and outbound marketing teams to support continuous outreach.  Selected and deployed CRM (early adopter of Salesforce), built sales enablement tools, processes, systems from ground up.  Worked collaboratively with Sales, Delivery and Customer Service, IT teams to address opportunities for efficiencies and effective approach to high growth.

Developed studies to gather intelligence and insights from potential corporate clients.  Created flipside studies gathering information from potential interim executive candidates. Leveraged these insights to inform brand, marketing and communications, sales enablement strategy, plan and launch. Utilized studies to position our research as industry expert and for Media and PR purposes.

Developed brand platform and blueprint defining unique value, personality, promise, messaging architecture based on hot buttons by audience type, and collaborated with Art Director on identity and visual expression. Trained entire organization on brand communications and guidelines.

Concept through completion. Including Creative Services, Content and Copy Development for offline and online assets, website strategy and development, sales enablement tools, event marketing materials, service brochures, sell sheets, ads, and other external and internal facing training and sales and marketing materials.

Online, offline, video and other print and digital materials, tools and resources were created for the internal sales team, external partners, and inbound and outbound marketing teams .  Trained teams on these systems, processes and resources and how to leverage available enablement tools.

Outcomes & Results
