CLIENT SUCCESSES

OUNCE Water

B2C / DTC Beverage Manufacturer and Supplier

OUNCE Water success story shares how the client’s Art Director working in close collaboration with Marketing Matters created new packaging for the four SKUs of the OUNCE Water cartons.  The new design aligned to the look, feel, and personality that the brand wished to convey.

Integral to the package redesign, brand messages were developed and updated to properly position and differentiate the OUNCE Water brand from other competitive alternatives. Despite tight deadlines, the packaging was developed on brand, on time, and on budget.  The client was delighted with the fast turnaround and “outstanding” visual outcome.

Challenge & Opportunity
The OUNCE Water success story shares how the manufacturer and supplier of pure, pristine and incredibly delicious tasting water, OUNCE Water was in a crowded market. Their packaging lacked appeal and did not convey a look and feel that positioned them well among their direct competitors.

The opportunity for OUNCE Water was to improve the visual packaging of their four SKUs, to become more visually intriguing and compelling.  Additionally, their brand messages required modifications to be concise, clear and motivating within the limited landscape provided by the carton panels.

Services & Solutions
Working collaboratively with the client’s Art Director, Marketing Matters provided feedback on the visual design while developing the brand messages, and new content and copy for each panel among the four SKUs.

Conducted research on client’s top competitors to inform development project. Used due diligence to inform development/modification of brand’s key messages, copy and differentiation in words and in its visual expression.

Collaborated with Art Director on the visual package design. Developed brand messages, overall content and copy for new carton packaging.

Outcomes & Results
Four new package designs with new brand messages, content and copy were provided to the client for production.  These designs were delivered on brand, on time, and on budget.  Client was delighted with the turnaround time and design outcomes.
