Researched local and regional market competitors to understand un-/under- met needs of market. Identified opportunity for Park Animal Hospital to differentiate the brand based on their family ownership and focus, unique care services, and holistic approach to animal care. Worked closely with the owners from concept and development of a new brand positioning, messaging and visual identity through execution of the brand’s creative assets including the website, socials and print materials.  Developed integrated marketing strategy, plan and tactics for implementation by the team based on resources available. 

Challenge & Opportunity
Park Animal Hospital had been recently purchased by my client. The business was located in a highly competitive market filled with alternative animal medical care providers. Client wanted to distinguish themselves in the market, but not quite sure how to do this.  They also wanted to proactively market the hospital, and were looking for the tools, resources, and recommendations on where their time, efforts and money were best allocated to marketing online and offline.

To gain an understanding of the local and regional market in this sector, the competitors and their branding, market research was conducted . The findings uncovered opportunities for developing a brand around their family-owned and operated practice and incredible family values. Additionally, Park Animal Hospital was one of only a few in the wider geographic market offering leading edge treatments for pets that involved advanced training, equipment, and less invasive approaches to pet care.  Our charter was to convey these unique services, their approach to pet care, and the ‘family’ brand and values through visual design and multiple forms of content (print, website, video, blog, posts, and more).

In addition to completing the research and brand development, we developed the website and other marketing materials (print/digital) and tied them to a seamlessly integrated marketing plan.  Using the marketing plan as their roadmap, the client’s internal team managed the successful implementation and execution process on an ongoing basis.
